Tim Cook was born on November 1, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, and was raised in the nearby town of Robertsdale. He pursued higher education at Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 1982. Following his undergraduate studies, Cook went on to obtain an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1988. Before joining Apple, Cook built a robust career in the technology industry, holding significant positions at IBM, Intelligent Electronics, and Compaq.
